 Out
of our two facilities in West Covina and Pomona, EVCHC
provides annually over 65,000 patient visits to approximately
22,000 unduplicated clients. Services include family practice medicine for children,
teens and adults; OBGYN care including prenatal care, family
planning, GYN services including services for menopausal
women and breast cancer prevention for women over 40 years of
age; HIV services ranging from testing to outpatient care;
mental health; case management services and nutrition
counseling services. Case
management, nutrition, and health education are an integral
part of our medical services. EVCHC professional staff is composed of physicians
(internists, family practitioners, pediatricians,
gynecologists), midlevel providers (nurse practitioners,
physicians assistants), nurses, health educators, case
managers, and a nutritionist. Services are provided
in English and Spanish.
General
Medicine
 Adult Medicine:
General medical services, physicals, routine
services, diagnostic treatment of chronic diseases including
diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, X-ray, and health education
services.
Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing: Testing and treatment of sexually transmitted
infections (STIs).
HIV Testing and Counseling: Anonymous and confidential/court-ordered testing
for HIV.
Pediatric Medicine: General pediatric services, well child visits,
school services and physicals, immunizations, newborn care,
and lactation
services.
Women’s
Health Care
 GYN Services: Family planning, pregnancy
testing, contraceptive services and counseling, STD testing,
treatment and education, GYN care, annual
exams including pap smears, breast
exams and colposcopies.
Prenatal/Obstetrical Services:
As a
Comprehensive Perinatal Services Provider (CPSP), we
provide medical visits, case management, delivery
physician/hospital, and post-partum care.
Additionally, we offer prenatal education
programs and classes on breast feeding.
Mammography Services:
Free mammograms for women over 40 who qualify,
and/or patients presenting with symptoms.
Menopause: Hormone
replacement, evaluations, and patient education.
 Teen Clinics: We offer
family planning services

HIV
Clinic: We
offer HIV Outpatient Medical
Services for our HIV+ clients.
