Visiting Your Dental Provider During the

COVID-19 Pandemic

What you should know...

At East Valley, we believe oral health is essential to your overall health and well-being. Oral disease can cause pain and infection that may lead to problems with eating, speaking, and learning. However, seeking dental care has been concerning for some individuals who risk COVID-19 exposure while receiving dental work.

Our dental providers prioritize your safety by ensuring all staff wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) for your protection. This includes wearing an N95 respirator, a surgical mask, a face shield, clothing shield, gloves, and protective eye wear. HEPA air purifiers have been installed in every dental room to ensure adequate filtration of bacteria and viruses. For aerosol generating procedures, our dental providers use extra-oral suction units along with intra-oral high volume suctions. Rooms are cleaned and disinfected using products listed on the Environmental Protection Agency’s List N: Disinfectants for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

We encourage you to contact your dental provider to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable during your visit.
